Bespoke Dressing Room Design
Artichoke has more than 25 years of experience in creating beautiful interiors and joinery. We enjoy the challenges of creating beautiful bespoke dressing rooms that are elegant, functional and spacious.
We have designed dressing rooms for a huge variety of buildings, from grand classical homes to contemporary properties. We are also highly experienced in working with architects and interior designers, either as a part of a large project team or directly.
Our goal is to exceed the expectations of clients and design spectacular rooms that fit beautifully within the architecture of their home. A dressing room is highly personal, therefore before designing anything we spend lots of time talking with the client to fully understand their requirements. Does the client prefer to hang or fold clothes? do they roll or hang ties? what types of shoes and boots are owned and what kind of security needs are required for valuables? We take the time to ensure we get these details right.

Dressing Room Case Study: Cirencester, Gloucestershire
Much of our work involves modernising stunning period properties without compromising the original architecture. Working on a Queen Anne House in the Cotswolds, we were tasked with creating a grand master dressing room and boot room. The dressing room was designed with handsome antiqued oak and hand-painted furniture innkeeping with the rest of the house, and no doors to free up space within the room and give it a boutique flavour.

Dressing Room Cast Study: Hampstead, London
Artichoke specialise in creating bespoke dressing room furniture. For this project in Hampstead we were commissioned to create a large wardrobe set that ran for a total of over 12 metres. Veneered with crown cut cedar and contrasting black walnut banding, the effect is both eye-catching and elegant.

Bespoke wardrobe detail for a house in Hampstead. As a company we work in properties in London, across the UK and internationally. We have designed everything from one-off pieces to redeveloping a whole home. Our design office is supported by a team of experienced cabinet makers that work out of our 14,000 square foot workshop in Somerset.
